Theme: Wealth by Collaboration
Among the collaborative tools that have marked a paradigm shift in aggregation of knowledge and its dissemination Wiki has few parallels. This session looks at the broad area of Wikinomics - or the implications of global collaborative tools for new business. The session will have Dr Atanu Dey, Michel Bauwens, George Sadowsky and Satish Jha among the panelists and will be moderated by Satish Jha.

When it comes to BPO, in the world market India has come to seen as a synonym of prosperity through outsourcng business processes. It put India on a new growth curve. Can other developing and emerging economies learn from its experience and take the next steps towards the promise land? Karen Lojewski, Newraj Burton, Chris Uwaje, Ganesh Natarajan and African entrepreneurs will explore the opportunities that the BPO market offers.

Theme: Open Source models for creating value in emerging markets
Open Source has long been viewed as a way out for the resource poor to embrace the path of digital opportunities. There has been remarkable progress, corporations have begun embracing open source technologies, the success of Ubuntu has offered a new hope and yet a whole range of questions need to be addressed before the barriers to prosperity by means of open source get further lowered. What’s on the horizon? Jon Hall (better known as Maddog), Shahid Akhtar, Simon Phipps, Dorcas Muthoni et al will explore various issues.
