Both lakes accommodate several species of fish, including Nile perch, tigerfish, hordes of hippoes and Nile crocodiles. A good place to view crocodiles is on the shore of Lake Chamo at a place popularly known as “Azzo gabaya”, meaning crocodile market due to the presence of large crocodile population.  Only few places on earth can match the allure of the setting.
