Mieso Denko received his BSc degree in Statistics & Mathematics from the Addis Ababa University. He received his MSc degree form the University of Wales, UK, and his PhD degree from the University of Natal, South Africa, both in Computer Science. Since November 2002, Dr. Denko has been with the Department of Computing and Information Science (CIS), Guelph, Ontario, Canada. His research interests cover many aspects of computer networks and pervasive computing with focus on wireless networks and mobile & pervasive computing. His current research interests include wireless ad hoc networks, wireless mesh networks, wireless sensor networks, pervasive/ubiquitous computing and networking. Dr. Denko has been involved in WITFOR since the first event which was held in Vilnius, Lithuania in August 2003, as a member of the Environment and Building the Infrastructure Commissions. He is a senior member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the current Vice-Chair of IFIP TC6 WG 6.9
