Vision of equality

The World IT Forum (WITFOR) focuses on the ICT-equity agenda and aims at assisting developing nations to implement sustainable strategies for the application of ICT by organizing state-of-the-art conferences on global trends in information and communication technology in developing countries and by initiating projects in different areas of the ICT spectrum.
WITFOR will be organized every second year in co-operation with the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) member societies and local governments in developing countries.

WITFOR in Vilnius
 
The first WITFOR will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, 27-29 August 2003. General information for WITFOR 2003 Vilnius delegates is available here.

WITFOR 2003 Vilnius Programme
The first two days of the event will be committed to the preparation of Vilnius Declaration. Half of the final day will be dedicated to  presentation of the results of the commissions and of Vilnius Declaration.
